The benefits of training and racing with Polar's CS500 can really make a difference in your results. It's like having a coach with you at all times. You can set reminder alarms to make sure you're eating and drinking regularly. You can ride a race course, record the amount of climbing and calorie expenditure, and replicate that in training. Of course, all of the standard heart rate and cyclo-computer features are included, and all of it is downloadable with Polar's ProTrainer 5 software, so you get a completely customized workout plan and can track your progress over time. To scroll through the screen, simply push on the edge of the computer—the buttons are integrated into the body.
