I have been riding a aluminum Cannondale road bike for 15 years, broke down and bought this one and wow, what a difference. It feels so good, go over the same old bumps and they are smoothed out noe. Only issue I have had with it is the tires that came with it are too supple (I'm not a racer on a track)... A screw went THROUGH the back tire on my first long ride, ruined the brand new tire. This bike would really go fast if someone else was pedaling, I do fly downhill now though... pass people even. It's beautiful as well.
I finally took the leap and bought my first rode bike - and am loving it !!! Named her " White Lightening" !!! Love how fast you can go with little effort compared to my hybrid. With my group rides, we are averaging 19 mph !! Do highly recommend this bike. Did change the seat at my fitting, but that was just my personal choice.
It's almost paid off.. and I don't regret this purchase whatsoever!! I love my blue beauty, we went about 2k miles last summer and the shop I had maintenance done at remarked about how new she looks. From casual rides to centuries, this is my go-to bike. It handles great, is smooth as a cloud, and climbs like a dream, plus wind is no longer a deterrent to getting ride in. The carbon is strong and wheels are of excellent, lightweight quality.
